The Power of Unexpected Luck in Dating and Career

Ever notice that good things only seem to happen to OTHER GUYS? It's not that they are luckier. Notice opportunity then capitalize on it!
They often use phrases like “my dream job” or “a girl like that doesn’t come along every day…”
And they are dreamers.
Sometimes the dreamers out there get seduced by their fantasies though, and prefer to LIVE IN them rather than entering the real world to engage it as men.
What you will find after living through a lot of challenges, defeats and victories is that “living in the real world” can be every bit as exciting – even “magical” – as it is to harbor your fantasies about your potential.
It’s what I call the Narcissus Circuit at work when those seductive fantasies keep you off the playing field and out of REAL LIFE – one of the new technologies I am really excited about in the new Mature Masculine Power Program.
Narcissus was a young man who was so self-absorbed in his fantasies and dreams of perfection – he was looking at his own face in a pool of water, but shunned the real people in the outside world – that he missed out on real life, and the magic in it.
It’s not a sad or mundane thing to have to work away in the workaday world, or a fearful or depressing thing to realize that yes – you WILL have to be the one to approach the best looking women if you are to ever have a date with them.
Not when you understand SERENDIPITY.
Serendipity means, “Lucky discoveries, unexpected luck, and fortunate accidents” in life.
Well some of the biggest names in cognitive research have been looking at it recently, and are finding that there are literally things you can personally do to make it HAPPEN.
You can literally MAKE YOUR OWN LUCK.
Here's how:
1.) Have a relaxed state of mind, so that you can NOTICE MORE of the big picture of your environment. Anxiety narrows our focus.
2.) DARE to do things that do not have guarantees or certainty. It’s only on an adventure, such as travel, new social groups, going out alone, or taking a class in something new, that new and unexpected things will appear.
3.) BE DIFFERENT, and DO DIFFERENTLY from what you normally do. They call it “being in a rut” for a reason. In a rut, a gulley, or a canyon, the way is narrow and always the same. There is nothing new for your life where the environment is always the same. Commit to doing one thing new, or do it differently from what you are normally accustomed to.
I would like to show you something that connects your creativity, and the function of your “right-brain” I often talk about in MindOS, that will truly harness SERENDIPITY as a method for you to use – a powerful new force in your life…
Here it is, right out of the MindOS Mastery Program:
Your “Right-brain” is like an internal internet in you. It is the source of all creativity, humor, innovation, and skill with the spontaneous and uncertain.
Since Serendipity itself is a gift from the randomness of the environment, you might guess that having a gift for the spontaneous and uncertain is an important one to have to use this power. It’s like having a giant “catcher’s mit” for good luck!
This is why I often advise guys to get to a comedy improv acting course at your local theatre school. It’s like a weightlifting workout for the “right-brained muscles” of your brainpower.
As a kind of internet, your Right-brain is then something that collects and arranges DATA. Only it does so RANDOMLY – and that’s its gift. It’s like a fishing net for ideas, and the way those ideas are stored is much like the click here of the web, which branches to the unexpected, which clicks to further unexpected things, until you are truly on an adventure of the imagination.
Only your willingness to BE random in your CHOICE of environments to survey, to be creative and spontaneous in willing to sample the random details of those places you go – well, it makes you like a homing beacon for the spontaneous gifts of luck the universe is composed of.
Your Right-brain then is arranged in a way that has a smallest unit of creativity, this “net” of information, and that unit or “shape” is that of a triangle.
Creativity Has Three Sides
A triangle has THREE SIDES AND THREE POINTS.
So here is your special tool for the utility belt of being a man who harnesses serendipity:
Would you agree that there are things in life we all HAVE to do? As in paying the bills, going to work, etc?
Yes.
Would you also agree that you have dreams and fantasies of what you want to become? You always wanted to play guitar in a band, or discover a new element, win a major sports match, or act on tv?
Yes.
Well there you go – your have TWO POINTS of the TRIANGLE.
I’m sure you agree that we can’t avoid doing what MUST be done, but we also can’t avoid HARBORING OUR DREAMS, either, right?
Right!
Yet all you have so far is two points that make a LINE.
Here is where most men screw up, both in career and with women.
In career, say that you want to be in a band, but you work in an accounting office – your only way of marrying the two is to sneak off to surf the internet for music on your break.
Boring. And not leading anywhere new.
Or with women, you’ve always wanted to date a foreign woman just to see what that’s like, but you live in a small inland town. The best you do connecting the dots (a LINE), is that you order foreign movies on NetFlix.
Boring, and nothing new will come.
But there is an open point on what COULD be a triangle, if only you are OPEN TO IT.
That point MUST be provided for by a THIRD source, and that sources cannot be YOU this time. It has to be the environments that you put yourself into.
However, if you do nothing new, nothing new will happen.
It’s like being a surfer instead of an accountant.
If you are riding the waves, the waves have a randomness about them. But if you insist on paddling your surf board in a straight line, you are going to get knocked over by the randomness of the waves.
No, you need to learn to RIDE the waves, to move and flex WITH them.
That means taking the clues that tell you to try something new, notice something new, and then SEIZE it as a clue it’s time to decide something different.
Instead of just looking at music videos in the office, you chance upon an ad on craigslist that says, WANTED, SINGER IN BAND.
Now you have a chance to do something different. You like guitar, not singing, but so what? Go to the tryout and sing the crappiest song you know. You’ll meet REAL musicians instead of imaginary ones.
With women, you get a Netflix film that takes place in Paris. You see some sites in it, remember them, write them down, and take a clue. It makes no sense on your budget whatsoever, but you save for three months, and get the cheapest ticket you can find, to PARIS FRANCE. Not only that, you go to the sites YOU SAW IN THE MOVIE!
Now THAT’S cool.
Guess what, you meet the most amazing, REAL, french woman at the top of the Eiffel Tower too.
Use the guidelines above, and look for the Serendipity in life.
Then take that Triangle of Creativity as I call it, point one is what you MUST do (save money, go to work, pay bills), point two is your DREAMS.
And point three you need to be open to NOTICING the clues all around you, when like a surfer, you allow yourself to JOIN the spontaneity of the universe, by PURPOSELY MAKING SOME MORE RANDOM CHOICES in WHAT you do, and WHERE you do them.
Go make this thing HAPPEN!
And make it easier, with the Mature Masculine Power Program.
