What do women WANT??? We know. We know EXACTLY what they want and must have when it comes to attraction, dating, starting a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship and marriage. So much so that you are never going to be the same after next week. It turns out that all men and women ever born are of a species of mammal called Homo Sapiens, and we are not any more exempt from the steps of the mating dance than any other animal.
We've never commented on this before, because maybe it's just so obvious to many - that women don't really care about your looks, height, hairline, weight and so much else that you are critical of yourself about.
When I went to see Woody Allen's film, Midnight in Paris, I was told it's a "romantic comedy" about a bad relationship, and expected all kinds of lessons about attraction, dating and marriage. I didn't at all expect that it was going to be an equally thought provoking guide to career choices coming from our inexplicable experiences with the unexpected. That it would treat the two prime concerns of men in the form of women and work in equal balance, or how it is that the hour of midnight has a role in a man's life, were the biggest surprises of all.
He wasn't your usual elite Hollywood actor. When in between filming “Pirates of the Caribbean,” a commercial here and there, entertaining some jet-setters from Europe, or working on the side as a high-end bartender my old friend would "cave up" in his rented Beverly Hills carriage house to silently work on building old-fashioned record turntables from scratch, “just because."
