It's often the last thing a man thinks of when it comes to life not going the way you want in terms of women and work. Yet, your choice of environment (or lack of moving out of an environment that doesn't serve you) is just as important as your skill with women or skill at your career.

These are our Top 5 cities in the western world for English-speaking men to thrive in, with the statistics to back up opportunity with dating women, finding a wife if you so choose, and career and business opportunity. To a man, cost does not have to be a consideration if you trade off opportunity later for economizing now.

1. New York - the best ratio of women to men in the world, especially culturally friendly to men over 35 (and all those less in age as well), with business and career opportunity equal to or better than London.

2. London - A very good ratio of women to men, not quite as friendly for men over 35 but more than made up for by the general culture's honoring and respecting of men. Excellent dating prospects for men under 35, and good to excellent career and business opportunity.

3. Los Angeles - An average to good ratio of women to men, but also a haven of respect for men of all ages, though not quite as much so as New York, good access to career and business opportunity better than other American cities except New York, and great diversity of both women and cultural experience.

4. Chicago - Excellent ratio of women to men, the most friendly women in America, but not of advantage for men over 35. Work and career opportunity average, though better than any smaller city. We nominate it based on the degree of friendliness in women alone, and the ratio of women to men.

5. Montreal - New York like mores, and attitude toward men in the women, ratio not as good as other cities chosen, but better than smaller cities, and ample business and career opportunity.
