Give us Feedback for new MAIN SITE

Give us Feedback for new MAIN SITE

Postby Paul Dobransky MD » Fri Mar 26, 2010 10:51 pm

Hey guys, we are re-launching the main site with all new functionality (not the forums - the main http://www.menspsychology.com page)...

Sooooo, be sure to post here to tell us what you want, what you don't like about how it is now (that will change remarkably), and what would be on your wish list for functions.

The newsletters will also be switching to once a week, with all kinds of options in each one, and the main site will be far more active and changing.

Also, what is your best day and time to receive the one per week newsletter to stay informed of the latest?

P.S. One last thing. I'm doing my first Mature Masculine Power Seminar in a year, in Chicago, Apr30-May1, and wanted you to be aware. There will be optional nighttime bootcamps on dating. Any needs, wishes on that program?

The main page is a bit tall on my screen; I have to scroll down to get to the links. Links to the forums, courses, etc. at the top would be very convenient.

I think it's better to funnel things through the program names. Like Epcot centre.
This is MindOSWorld, here's MMPLand and on your left is OmegaMaleVillage. Makes more sense.

You can take the same problems to each area and see how they interact/integrate.
Refer people to other areas...etc. Keeps members moderators and coaches clued in to what context an issue or thread is being discussed in.
Phone coaching available.
$100.00 for first two hours for members of the paid forum.
PM me for more information.

Agreed on link placement on the homepage. If the main page is just about the ebook, people might type in their email ,then get sent to TheCode page...but then they get stuck at that page unless they're going to purchase the other product.

I recommend something to give a new visitor direction as to what the site is about and what you do and what they can do on the site...

I like the new site. The style before looked too much like how pick up artists were setting up their pages. This new, streamlined form gets the point across much better, and helps seperate yourself (in the consumer's mind) from a pick up artist. The "Info" links are a great idea.

The new newsletter format is great!

Good time to send it in the beginning or middle of the week as well so that the weekend mission is read before going out on Friday evening =)

The updated newsletter format is brilliant! Very efficient and effective. Especially for those in different timezones - weekend missions before the weekend! Excitement!

Partner,

I think there is a difference between feedback and carpet bombing. Boundaries probably.

Relating back to a point Luke made, I find that the main page seems like too much of an offer for your new products and less an explanation about who you are and how you can help. Just a little off balance, but the information supplied is still very clear. I like it, but having navigated to it before finding out it was your main page, it came across as more of a section you'd navigate to through a link on the real main page.

Ok so the new page kicks ass. Didn't expect it to be revamped to that extent, but really the navigability, content, and look are all excellent. Great job DP.

I couldn't get through his entire post, but the fact it was his first forum post here implies he's giving feedback through the eyes of a new user. That has value none of us can offer... If I were developing a website, I'd rather have a carpet bomb feedback post than no post at all...

PS Just revisited the main page. It's looking good. Real good!
