Nice Ares! but I don't want you to become a MONK! It's just a learning exercise in boosting your career and resources... :D

This is awesome, I'm going to be applying this come July, no more chasing tail and blowing resources.

Sticking to this may well be more difficult than abstinence.

With this in mind who knows how long I will have to go without sex.

I'm no stud but I'm no Monk either.

I feel much stronger having been abstinent for so long.

I have much more control over my self, when it comes to my resources, I have definately taken a leap forward.

A quote from Chris rock comes to mind "there is no such thing as free p u s s y"

Basically your gonna pay somehow, so make sure she is worth it I.e curious, fun with good boundaries, if not put your resources on lockdown and say good night, early in the interaction.

I have also realised I am letting women slow me down in my plans to move to the city and change jobs, so my abstinence may continue until I have completed these tasks.

During this month I have much improved my cv, which is having the desired effect and I have also explored the areas where I will live.

I have also made time to read again, I have started with Dr Pauls top5 books.

The Alchemist was great very fast paced and full of lessons on courage and mission, Lord of the Flies next.

I feel much more masculine for all the reasons above plus more.

Wow man that's great, and thanks for all the observations!

For the rest of you, National Men's Abstinence Month is NOW OFFICIALLY OVER! WHEW!

What did you learn?

I like what you say about having done some extra things on your career and the cv, and the reading.

It's caused me to decide to - yes - break my electric guitar out of storage. I've been so consumed with the site and programs for you and all, that I have let the guitar go for over 5 years now!

As far as books, the alchemist is amazing isn't it?

The Lord of the Flies I'm hoping gives you a totally different spin on how the reptilian brain works for males, and through tragic storytelling, shows the primitive aspects of territoriality, rank, the need for winning and dominance, yet the need for alignment on team missions with other males etc.

Enjoy!

I agree with Whysoserious. I feel I have the extra energy and will power to do the things that needed to get done yesterday, and no excuses will do.

Talking about feeling like a damn predator!

re:electric guitar, I notice that I ALWAYS pick mine up to make some noise when I feel extra masculine, or when hitting an extra low point. It is indeed a constant in my life...

Wanted to share a quote but can't find it!

I have decided to call an end to my own abstinence as of today, this has become potentially life changing because of all the attention I have placed on my needs and my needs alone.

It's now time to get on with life and hopefully reap the rewards, as I feel much stronger to do what's needed for myself while dealing with others.

Same again next June I reckon.

Go for it Ant, it helped clear my mind of alot of BS and get back to whats important to me.

I've just returned from months of travel, so it's perfect timing for me to get back to reality.

Awesome, Ant. Go for it :)

I am going to join in with this but as an experiment combine it with another mission I have set myself. 30 days of day game.

Through June, every day, I will chat up a girl I met on the street, but with the knowledge that there will be no sex. I may even tell them this up front

Cheers guys. I actually thought that this was going to be an annual collective thing, though I may take it on myself nonetheless...

Great idea. It's almost coming to one year of my joining MP forums and it started with me getting aware of the true value of my time and emotional energies!

Combining this month with KDs 30 approaches in 30 days yields something interesting. You HAVE to remember that sexual ATTRACTION is not the same as the sex ACT!

Which means that abstaining for a month doesn't mean no interactions with women. It just means minimal resource expenditure toward them.

It is then ironic that you may find this month to be the most massive in awhile for women chasing YOU...

Indeed it has! Probably my most fruitful month ever. I currently have several girls sniffing around, I'm actively dating one of them, and I even have phone numbers for girls in foreign countries should I ever return. It has been a good month indeed
