Top 100 needed from YOU!

Hey guys, I want us to give something free to new guys to the forum - the TOP 100 QUOTES that teach and inspire men and only men!

We want your favorites! And they need to be useful to men and only men specifically. Include one paragraph of how you actually USED the quote in your life, or for a specific comeback or to get a raise etc.

Two for me were that I got a full scholarship only because of Newton's "Standing on the shoulders of giants..." quote, and Teddy Roosevelt's "In the Arena, critics don't count" speech.

 This has helped me many times in the work place, where I have been considered the guy to call in a crisis.

I beleive this is one of the reasons why I have been quickly promoted after starting a new job.

Sorry(No.2) to hog this one, but I just read this and thought it was really cool.

If you listen to this and don't feel moved or humbled you have not understood it. Purely studying the behaviour of the human species without considering the stage in which it is set is a fools folly. I work in racing and this one is great for dealing with high stress situations....but its crude and to the point..but very true especially if you have people looking to you for a decision.

What i interprete this as, is when something external and out of your control IS happening espec in a work enviroment you need to be calm to not over react and make a calm mature decision based on the facts in front of you (observing ego). Where i heard it im not sure....but i think its a very good mind set to have when your in a high stress work situation. Its not very philosophical maybe, but very practical!!!

It's a bit cheesy but it encapsulates 90% of All that info in one shot.

If things are going to hell around you stabilize don't escalate because it will cause time to slow down.

It came from one of my fat old mentors who kept kicking my ass when I was younger,

This is a line I have heard many times in action films, but how Dr Paul uses it particularly gives it great meaning to me.

I am I man in my early 30's, and there is pressure from my social group, society, media etc to settle down get married and have kids.

But I am not ready I have lots of "unfinished business" to do with my mission, life experiences and experiences with many more more women.

Today I finally solved a personal struggle which has effected me for years, if I was married that would taken much longer and if kids where in the picture, I probably would never have solved it.

I intend to carry on this way until I feel content and ready to take on such a big commitment, even though this may never come.

I have a couple. I find them pretty powerful.

You can’t ask for permission to be the man you want to be.

This one relates to boundaries. You can't ask for permission, and you don't have to. You give yourself permission, because it is innately yours. Helped me tilt my locus of control inwards.

Just throwing two more in here.
