Coby Cathey

I grew up in Mayberry. Ok, it wasn't Mayberry, but Emory, TX was pretty close. My parents are happily married 50+ years and still live in the same house. I received a degree in General Science from Harding University and a Masters in Education Administration from Texas A&M - Commerce (formerly East Texas State). After college I went in to the family business, which was education, and became a science teacher. I worked my way up, eventually becoming a principal. That's when I realized that the corporate ladder I was climbing was leaning against the wrong wall. I was deep in debt, in a job I hated, in a marriage that was lukewarm at best. I remember asking the question, "What if I became the best me possible?" I began a journey to improve spiritually, financially, relationally, emotionally and physically.... and the journey has been amazing!!! I am the President and Founder of Resolute Academy, an online high school, specializing in helping students that drop out or don't quite fit in public high school to find a way to receive a diploma and pursue their future. I have two great kids and live and love life to the fullest.
